To broaden patient access to clinical trials across the IRIS Registry, Verana Health has developed VeraSite, a site selection offering that will help sponsors identify interested practices that have specific patient populations that fit their clinical trials. There is no cost to your practice to participate. The practice-specific details included will be limited to information that is already publicly available. No patient-specific information will be shared. This is an IRIS Registry benefit that is supported by the Academy.

The data is analyzed in a secure platform which has the ability to search data for patient populations across this exclusive network. The platform will also include information about your practice’s research team and experience. You may opt-out at any time.

The VeraSite Difference
VeraSite puts powerful real-world data analytics capabilities to work, helping sponsors and CROs identify practices and investigators as research sites. Through the platform, sponsors and CROs can identify different patient groups according to parameters such as specific diagnoses, patterns of treatment, visual acuity results and intraocular pressure measurements, and demographics. Sponsors and CROs will never see patients’ personal information. Sponsors and CROs can filter on practice-level information such as provider subspecialty and trial history. This process takes only minutes and the data itself is refreshed regularly to deliver accurate de-identified patient and practice information. Once these filters are applied, practices will appear along with anonymized counts of potential patients for the trial that best represents each practice.
There is no cost for practices to participate. This is an IRIS Registry participant benefit, supported by the Academy.
